- pale straw in color - pear, granny smith apple, and a touch of grapefruit on the nose - not quite off-dry. green apple and pear in the mouth. nice acidity. very gewurz/viognier in character. - finish is short and clipped.
-this is my first experience with this varietal and my first georgia wine. i have to say i'm quite impressed. this is far and away the most enjoyable and intriguing wine produced in the southeast that i've ever tasted. everything i've tasted out of the southeast to this point has been dreck. this is legit wine that would be very appropriate for a summer sunday brunch. i'd gladly drink this again.
