  • cherrio, clove palate. Lots of freshness. Years to go. 3-5 if not more.

  • Showed very well this night. Not old, but with some development. Starts to mellow, perfectly round, compact on the palate. Alcohol is not high, but the texture is gently viscous, suggesting a warm climate. Really good, drink now or keep for a few more years if you want to see how it shows as a mature wine.

  • This one's been in my cellar for a few years and at 8 years old, I thought best to drink up. Cork out 30 mins before drinking. Golden yellow in the glass. Quite a full bodied Chardonnay. Still got it's fruit which is rich and honeyed. Drank over two nights and 1st night was much better - hasn't got the legs at this age to last two nights. Good if unspectacular Chardonnay.

  • Lush with broad fruit and forward flavors of citrus and some brioche. Medium finish. Supporting acidity just a little too subtle for the fruit. Good, but drink up.

  • A top drawer South African chardonnay.
On nose: intriguing scents of oak , dry wisps of vanilla and light smoke ....shy.
On palate: the above flavours follow through notes of tart pineapple , bracing minerals , stone and green peach and crunchy gala apple.....this 7 year old wine has been impeccably cellared : light ring gold colour in glass, it also displays clean acidity as as it warms up also displays sea salt and warm meyer lemon notes....the wine has a clearly Old World leaning ....reminiscent of both a Garnier Chablis Les Clos 2011, as well as a lighter version of an amazing Puligny Montrachet les Chalumeaux premier cru 2010.....excellent value for the price ....a wine for salmon Wellington or roast chicken or Salmon ....can age well still.
