11 is considered an intermediate vintage in Bordeaux. I have had this for 7 years, and at the time I thought this was an expensive wine. I think it held up well in storage. Still brilliant red with no color change towards the edge. Nose with coffee grounds, red fruit, spices, and leather. Delicious tannins. Good length. Red fruit, some licorice, spices, and leather. A good wine, which drinks very well now. With pepper steak, broad beans, gravy, and mushroom stew with onions

One hour decant. Deep brick red color, with a rusty rim. Fig, black cherry, anise, brown sugar and freshly turned soil on the classic Bordeaux nose. Smooth, very dry palate, with bitter chocolate and tar notes. Overall, a very mediocre red.

Vanskelig å sette fingeren på noe, men ingen top eller bunn. Nydelig vin.
