  Fruit was very muddled, even after it sat open for a couple of hours. The initial tightness relaxed and exposed some nice earthy tones to go with the oak. Hints of the richness many of its winery brethren have, but this one is just a little choked.
  
  12/13/2022 Very different view of it this time around. Lots of strawberry fruit and a foundation of red cherry. Still tight on opening, but with all the berry now it just feels like the stems and not so much the barrel.

  This really shines on the second day. It was very closed on day 1. My advice is to cellar at least another year or plan on a 4 hour decant.
