  • Very interesting for what it is. Fruit forward but not a fruit bomb - certainly still old world - berry on the nose with a hint of earth and garrigue. On the palate the berry flavors mix with herbs with a hint of oak - very little new, I'd recon - decent tannins. Rustic in the best sense yet very approachable. I tend to have a harder time finding reds I can serve to guests in quantity in the sub $15 range than whites, so I do believe I'll pick up some more. Seems like it'll take another few years in the cellar too.
