  • First glass after pop-n-pour was unimpressive. After being open for about an hour, I re-corked the bottle and came back to it a few hours later--and it was better.

  • Yikes, on the Pop n pour I thought I was hosed. Completely muted and shut down. Dumped into a decanter for 30 minutes and fully resuscitated.

The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium/slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, perfume, and rose. There's a noticeable limestone presence. It tastes like blackberry, very tart cherry, rose water and pomegranate. The tannins are chalky and very fine. The body is light/medium. The wine has narrow texture. The wine finishes medium and mineral driven from beginning to end. The wine has medium/light acidity.
