  • Sensational quality in this humble bourgougne rouge. The nose isn't exactly petite though, neither are the the flavours. Here we get quite complex developing and excuisite aromas of lingonberries, strawberries and red cherries, lifted by whole-cluster perfumes and perfectly well integrated used oak. Fairly light in body, yet with surprisingly voluptuous fruit, firm enough structure, and caressing viscous texture at only 11,5% abv. The beautiful pinot berry fruit lingers well after the structural components. We come to think of the best vintages of Foillard's Corcelette. Drinking perfectly well now, it should last for several years. Worth an applause, and no hurry with any remaining bottles.

  • Deep, fully ripe yet tart, dark berries, so fresh, brambly and moresome. Really good this year.

  • Red, much deeper than the Dubreuil Fontaine. Forward, almost graph, berry fruit. Nice feel with some oak present. Red berries and some smokiness. Herbal, tannic finish. Very attractive at the price and could improve modestly with another year in the bottle.
