Drinking in its prime. Cherries, potpourri and earth aromas with the palate adding strawberry and cocoa. Perfectly integrated medium acid/tannins. Drink one now as it’s nearly a perfect Cali Pinot, but knowing how well some pinots continue to evolve with age I think I’m going to keep one or two around for a while.

Translucent cherry red, and too young for bricking. The nose is cherry with significant herbal overtones, including basil, thyme, and rosemary. The palate is smooth, and with a lot of that herbal depth carrying the fruit. The finish is long and balanced. I like this wine a lot.

Everything is starting to integrate. The spices Loren mentions show, along with red cherry and now a bit of cocoa. Medium tannins/acid. Try a bottle now but no rush. Enjoyable wine.

A lot of Pinot Noirs (My backyard): Another unique wine. This seemed to be love it/hate it among the group. Very interesting nose of spice (nutmeg, cinnamon) and cherries. Already showing a nice complexity. Not the biggest wine, but not delicate either. Nice texture.
