PnP. Medium deep red. Nose of dark fruit/berries with some herbal notes. Medium weight on the palate with lovely flavors of dark and red fruits and some red apple as well. This is quite intriguing and definitely better than the last bottle. No tannins to resolve but good acidity on the finish suggests this will continue to age gracefully. Last bottle unfortunately! Anderson valley pinots are sneaky agers often to 20 years in my experience.

The color is pale to medium ruby. The nose is red and dark fruit, clove, and forest floor. The mouth was red fruit, dark cherry cola, and allspice. I like the brighter aspect of the acidity, considering it is 10-year-old. I also enjoyed that is was a California pinot fruit bomb. The finish was medium-long in length. Overall after some air there was a nice balance to the wine and I enjoyed the quality.

PnP. Medium light red. Nose of red apple and cherry. Rather light on the palate with some tannins poking through on the finish. This doesn't have a lot of flesh to it, so I would expect it should be drunk sooner rather than later. Nice but not more than that; doesn't have the depth that I have seen from this vineyard from for instance Littorai. This kept improving over several dayt kept at reefer temperature so there may be more upside here than I thought.

Prior bottle was nearly 10 months ago and my notes were consistent. Black cherry, blackberry, earth and vanilla notes on the nose. Medium bodied with rounded black cherry upfront, adding some brighter blackberry through the middle along with some tart red cherry towards the back. Balanced spices, some earth notes and tannins through the back. Acidity minerals and some vanilla through the finish. The acidity was a bit unbalanced at first and stuck out a bit towards the back initially, but it moved into balanced with some more time open. Showing well now, but additional time won't add anything and this is best enjoyed between now and year-end 2022.

early on in wine path of discovery, came to savor Savoy Vyd. pinot w/Ted Lemon's vintages, feel like this expresses the vineyard well; served at just above cellar temp, bright & expressive, lovely balance, just a bit of 'chew' on the finish, this penultimate bottle is delightful tonight. if you prefer that stage where dark-skinned wild cherry & boysenberry fruit is still in the forefront, it's drinking now w/several years to go at this stage. a rewarding bottle on a muggy night.
