Has that Melville nose that is unmistakable. Great nuances you find in a great SRH Pinot. Perhaps this wasn't the best vintage for Pinot, but was up to the Melville quality. Drink now, but no more than 1 more year.

Central Coast Trip; 3/30/2014-4/1/2014: Tasted at Winery. 40% whole-cluster fermentation and then aged in neutral French oak. Clone 90 is Calera's clone. Although this was lighter in color than the other pinots we tasted (perhaps due to the cooler 2011 vintage), this pinot sported far more complexity and spice on the finish and a primary aroma of raspberry. Young, but drinking very well now. Drink 2014-2019.
