  Gave it an hour of air time before drinking. Plum and dark cherry fruit. Lots of it. Beautiful ruby color. Transitions to earthiness as it moves across the palate. Then finishes with a good pop of acid. Great with our chicken parmesan. Much more restrained than I tend to associate with Paul Hobbs.

  Slo-oxed this bottle for 20 minutes based on my previous TN in March. What a warm and welcoming wine. Impressions are almost identical to the previous bottle. No sediment noticed. Clean nose of dark red fruits and earth. The medium to plus bodied palate shows lots of dark red fruits, a good dose of earthiness, and a touch of spice. The acidity is balanced, the tannins are resolved, and the finish is appealing. Best to drink in the next year or so.
