Good extract with darker color and darker cherry fruit on nose than expected, yet palate remained tart and crunchy; good village wine with good length and acidity to last years; has as much complexity/refinement as one could reasonably expect from village Marsannay

Pop and pour. Dark ruby color, slight funk on the nose initially then some red fruits both on the nose and palate. On first drinking, has bright cherry notes, tastes like gamay, but with time more leathery/earthy notes become prominent, with great acidity throughout. Somewhat short finish. Overall very fresh and has some complexity, would be great with food

PNP. cork perfect. color dark ruby. nose completely shut down. passed thru venturi which helped it out. now has tight cherry and iron. swishing this shows toney acid structure that goes stemmy on the finish. sipping gives pleasing cherry and cranberry with nice polish and med length. i think that this is shut down and needs some time in the bottle to express itself.

Pale red typical of Pinot noir. Red cherries on the nose with a hint of game. Fresh red fruits on the palate, medium bodied, with a zesty long finish & some tannins. Disappointing for a £17 bottle but it's an entry level burgundy, could perhaps age longer in the bottle and my preference in reds is for big, full-bodied, well Oaked ones
