Last of 6 bottles and would reload again if I could. Worked very well with butternut squash risotto and chicken and potatoes braised in coconut milk and chorizo. Again reminded that white Rhones often show better on the warmer side.

Fantastic wine. Great with grilled wild sea bass. Rich and creamy, but with so much fruit and balance, length. Close your eyes take a sip and bam you are in vacqueyras. I am already looking forward to my trip to the region (his rose and reds are also impressive). If you are looking for value look no further. This winemaker was recommended by the lovely wife of (the utterly brilliant) jerome bressy at gourt de mautens, in my book that means something

Nose of graham cracker, vanilla, butter, candlewax, asian pear, and rainwater. Palate of persimmon, yellow apple, walnut, and stone. Fantastic wine after a half day of air, not too cold, with a multistage layered finish. 92-93 and a potential QPR of the year.

20% Marsanne, 17% Roussanne, 16% Clairette, 15% Grenache Gris,14% Viognier, 14% Vermentino and 4% Picpoul/Picardan/Carignan Blanc.
A veritable melange - tremendously well made in a modern style. Very rich (not for everyone) yet poised.

Better at well above cellar temperature, might have been 68 by the end. Sublime wine.
