This is still tough and unyielding, and I think it will be ever thus. Just dark. Too dark, too...dark. Deep to black red, toasty, roasted nose, some burnt red berries popping thru, which actually seems a bit strange - palate is lithe enough, med-hi acidity, but the flavour profile is dark - toasted bark, burnt coffee, and the finish is a bit bitter and almost sour. Just very disappointing on several levels.

A good Washington Cabernet not yet passed it’s prime. Not worth $100, but pleasant nonetheless.
