  Drink, don’t hold. Fruit still showing well, but a bit unbalanced with a somewhat harsh finish.

  Dark and brooding. Fantastic fruit still showing, black cherry, earth, fresh with impeccable balance. Long lingering finish. Pop and pour. Drink up. This wine is peaking now.

  With grilled, thick-cut pork chops. Fine sediment thrown, mature plum skin color. Deep baking spice nose delivers on black cherry pie in the glass. Notably more advanced from January bottle. An extra point given for "label drinking" from our favorite OR poducer, this is the last of a long, great run of BTF 2012 WV PN.

  Brought to a restaurant, shared with friends. Decanted roughly 45 minutes; good serving temp. Dark red fruits, baking spices, clove with lively acids and a silky finish. This was firing on all cylinders. Excellent.
