Seattle Chaine Port and Madeira Tasting. Drank alongside a Graham's 10 Year Old Tawny. This had better acidity, drier, and fresher. It's certainly not a dry port. The Grahams is a blend so has a bit more dimension to it from the older components but it is blurry around the edges. This has more focus and it just seems like a wine from a single vintage. Both excellent and similar-- but different because one is a vintage and the other is not.

Well, my daughter doesn’t like any of the 02 champagne or Syrah or Rhine rangers I poured from her year to match with crispy pork carnitas and smoke Buffalo wings. Rather than pulling out a Chenin, I decided on a port! Not a stellar year but everyone else liked it... So I like it too.

Duft af sødmefuld, krydret figen. Stram, rar og med flot kompleksitet. Fyldig og en nærmest fløjlsblød rundhed med figen nødde smag. Fadpræg med integreret alkohol. En flot port med alder og fin pris i IRMA.

PnP. No formal notes but I remember it as well balanced and classic tawny.

Rich, luxurious, yet too too sweet or cloying. Loved it.
