  • Deep color. The nose is fragrant and pure, showing aromas of apricot, flowers, minerals, orange blossom and honey. This is light bodied on the palate, with good concentration and good finesse. The medium plus length finish features a strong mineral element.

  • Deep color. A bit shy on the nose at first, then it opened to show aromas of honey, apricot, flowers, petrol and hints of quince. This is light bodied on the palate, with good concentration and a fair amount of finesse. This seems a bit tight and does not feature as much botrytis as the '06.

  • Alsace VT in style. Didn't get to this and it went home with new found drinking pals.

  • 9.0% ABV made with some botrytis effected clusters, that were hand sorted.
Beautiful deep golden color with a viscous nature, that holds plenty of residual sugar and has a decent amount of acids that hold this together. I think this will improve much over the next few years, but it is nowhere near the best dessert wines I have had in the finger lakes but styled a bit like a BA, without as much verve. apples and pears along with white florals abound with good mineral. Its nice to see the Finger Lakes wineries try to do some German styled wines, but fell a little bit short of what an auslese would have, but I think this needs times, as this was a warm vintage, it is impressive that there is enough acid to get this dessert wine to a point where it will pair well with a good cheese plate.
