  A gift from Dajio. Didn't really think I liked syrah as a category, but this one is pretty drinkable. Pours a deep red with definite legs. Nose if of dark fruit, pepper and spice. Taste is a bit harsh from the fridge but warms up to a bold yet mellow glass. Pretty dry on the finish. Ripe cherries, decent finish but not overly tannic. This wine does not bore me.
