Medium amber color, with just a bit of salmon remaining. Interesting and quite developed on the nose, with some peach and apricot fruit that has a deep, vinous quality to it rather than the juicy freshness it probably had initially. There's also a piquant floral element, but again it has matured into something deeper—in this case, something like a fine perfume. Overall, the nose is very integrated and elegant, and it's difficult to isolate individual notes. The palate is similarly interesting but reveals that I probably waited too long on this bottle. There's still some nice juiciness and good acid, and those fruity flavors mix with some savory umami aspects redolent of underbrush and mushrooms. But there's also something slightly stale/musty about it, and a bit of flatness to the texture that I think is a sign of decline. It's similar to the oxidative nuttiness of an amontillado sherry, but less intense and less intentional. Still enjoyable, but coming to the end.

Chilled from storage for about 20-25 minutes while we prepared dinner. PnP. Aromas are somewhat muted and delicate. Flavors of strawberry, peach, wet rock, hint of honey. The wine still has a nice body. Drinking with dinner of grilled tuna with olive oil, lime juice and some Montreal Steak Seasoning, and a kale, lettuce salad with avocado dressing. With the tuna some apricot flavors are showing up. Color is a reddish-pale copper.

(Château Pradeaux Bandol Rosé) Light medium orange color; dried currant, tart orange nose; tasty, tart orange, mineral palate with medium acidity and grip; medium-plus finish

Still tasty. Flattening out a bit, not really developing much, fruit dropping a little, but still very enjoyable.

Losing freshness, gained some complexity, softened red fruits, strawberry, rhubarb, dried spices

Light pink salmon in color. Crisp. Smells like salt water. Watermelon, apricot, grapefruit. A long finish that evolves over time.
