  • From magnum. Popped and poured. Full bodied and mature. Tropical fruit, tangerine, a touch of toast. Low acidity but reasonable balance. Deep and long on the finish.

  • My last of the 12's. The wine remains so young still. Upon opening you could tell it is structured and restrained fruit bordering on "non-existent".

Strangely lost fruit from my tasting two years ago but gained complexity and depth. There are apricot nut notes replacing the mango fruit that I remember and there is also a "chewing white paper" flavor note replacing cedar wood in mouth.

The finish is lemon, followed by drying notes of wood (that white paper flavor). A very complex young wine at 10 years.

  • Popped and poured. Light golden and a little cloudy. Modern in style with notable but well integrated. Full bodied, creamy and silky. Delicious ripe fruit with flavors of golden apples, gooseberries and cream. Layered with a long finish. This fully mature and I would drink it soon.

  • Popped and poured. Lemon, guava, and toast come through on the palate. The wine taste a tad too sweet and oaky - maybe in comparison to a white burgundy before it- but there is no denying the quality of the fruit and sophistication of this wine.

  • From a perfectly stored bottle out of a 54 degree cellar (12 C), this was still too young. Massive and structured, it wasn’t as opulent and creamy as you would hope for and even with two hours in the decanter didn’t open up fully. I would wait some years before trying again.
