Quick decant unintended opening this bottle so will review after coming hours and tomorrow. Exhibited the body but not the level of structure anticipated.
Second day much more cohesive but I still think the '12 reserve is better.

Completely agree with previous comment--this is a very impressive '11 California Cab. Red fruit up front, cedar and graphite notes on the complex finish, this wine captures what I like so much about Reynolds Family. It changed surprisingly little with 2+ hours in the decanter, which tells me it probably has a long life, but I'm not sure how it will evolve. Regardless, I have no regrets drinking it now, while the fruit is still front and center.

BTG restaurant purchase. As expected, Reynolds did an excellent job considering the subpar vintage.. Very aromatic on the nose with lots of black currant and blackberry with some earthiness in the background. Big, rich and concentrated. Long, persistent finish. Really really impressive.
