Been meaning to try a siduri Pinot and settled on the chehalem as it was on sale for $25 in PA. Can't tell if that's a good price or not. Anyway, it was relatively muted when I popped and poured on Friday. It didn't have much identity, although I am relatively new to Oregon Pinot. Got better on day two and finished the bottle while barbecuing chicken and lamb on day 3, where it really revealed a wonderful, strawberry filled nose and nice finish. Have one more bottle that I will likely pop, wait a few days, and then enjoy.

Strawberries, cherries, and acidity in the nose and initial flavors with good mid-range and finish. This is a very nice Oregon Pinot Noir for simply drinking or with food, but it is not a complex wine. I wish I had more of these.

vivid red appearance, inviting nose that opened up a little over 60 minutes; berry flavors in the front with some complexity or mineral after swallowing. Glad to have a couple more, and look forward to them.

Improved another point after a few months. Last bottle, wish I had more! Will continue to seek out more from Siduri.

lighter cherry color, several layers of fruit in the nose;
outdoor earthiness blends with fruit magnificently and delivers an interesting and easy to drink (a lot of) pinot.
Don't see the need to wait, but don't need to hurry up and drink, either.
