  Lovely golden colour. Zippy wet stone nose.
  Alcohol well balanced by the bracing acidity.
  Subtle stone fruit on the palate leaning to pear, with a hint of spice, clove or nutmeg perhaps.
  Long lingering finish really completes the experience.
  A very good foil for the steamed mussels with which it was served.

  Elegant BC chard with a medium, but not overbearing toasty palate from some oak aging. Nicely balanced and finishes well. Like the minerality and earthiness of this wine, and the laid back fruitiness. Still drinking well and not showing any sign of fatigue.
