  Insane Sta Rita Hills Pinot. Drinking Beautifully right now, I am glad I saved them until now. Some note from 07 said beauitful nose. Agreed. This is better than any Sea Smoke I have had, including the Foxen 2004 and that is a bold statement in regard to SB county pinots. I have another and am drinking it tomorrow with friends so that they can measure this as well. Wife loved it, licked the inside of her glass when all was said and done. Rhubarb, Old Cherry, smoked fruit, great balance. Look: Dark but didnt have the Syrah like complexity that some SB pinots have. Enjoy

  (at Bouchon – Santa Barbara) The wine of the trip. Terrific nose of asian spice and red fruit. Really complex and interesting. I could not get my nose out of the glass. Rich feel but not heavy and sports incredible intensity. Great California pinot. (95)
