From Magnum at Rare wine dinner (Muru). On the nose citrus and lemony notes with a hint of toast. Medium bodied, dry, crisp and elegant, showing lemony and light toasty notes with good mousse/acidity. Felt rather vibrant and refreshing. Very good.

Gourmetklubbens femtiofjärde middag (Södermalm, Stockholm (P+A)): (Disgorged in July 2014, 100% Chardonnay) Light yellow colour with a pleasant and youthful nose showing apples, baked bread and a touch of lime citrus in a delicious way. Nice and smooth on the palate still showing a refreshing citrus acidity combined with green apples and a creamy touch on the pleasant finish. This is in a very good face right now, but should keep for years to come! (Best 2018-2038)

At Restaurant Franziska, Frankfurt, Germany. Apple, citrus, biscuit, brioche, smoke, and chalky minerality, with great acidity and superb length. The mousse is ultra-fine and perceived as lightly creamy. Balanced and very harmonious, and very fresh. I enjoyed this a lot. Best bottle of champagne I have had in some time!

Best bottle from the batch by far. Mature autolytic notes with enought fruit and acidity to still be vibrant. Perfect balance to pair with hor d'oeuvres, matching both with the shrimp/mayo, the scallop/jalapeno and the Foie. Will for for sure last for another 5+ years and develop further maturity but I'm not sure it has the backbone to drive that in the direction I prefer so I'll drink up now while it shines!
