Full bodied nose, lacking the rubbing alcohol of most grenache. Vanilla and black pepper in the nose, but not over powering. Stone fruit, chocolate, currants, and hints of blackberry show through the middle of the pallette. Small spice and slight acid temp in the back of the throught. Drinks well now, but could appreciate a few years of aging.

Moderate+ to high viscosity. moderate+ concentration, bright reflections, clear and showing a dark ruby color with violet hues. Aromas after air time present with moderate intensity with oak nuances upfront; vanilla, toasted french oak and baking spice. Ancillary aromas of cassis, raspberry puree, violets, blueberry compote, pepper and a hint of graphite. The palate is full with moderate+ Alcohol, moderate fine tannins, moderate acidity, smooth with a velvety texture and flavors of vanilla, cassis, blueberry compote, fresh raspberry, cedar, white pepper and spice. The finish is balanced and moderate in both length and intensity lingering on blueberry and barrel notes.
Overall well put together but needs air at this point to allow aromas to bloom. drink 2014-2020

Better than the last bottle I had. Taste better after the 3rd day.

I hate this type of wine. Smelled of vanilla, coconut and chocolate. So sweet on the palate, lacking acidity. Horrible
