  Deep, dark, intense fruit that is dry (not sweet). Long legs. Soft tannins. Long finish. A little hot until it had time to open. Great wine at this price.

  Dark red color. Deep extraction of flavor and color. Long legs and sustained finish. Soft tannins and very drinkable. Great food wine.

  Rich intense Tempranillo. At 16% ABV, this is definitely not a wimpy wine but for such a high alcohol wine it is quite balanced. Notes of black cherries, dark chocolate, cigar box and spice. Hold for another 3-5 yrs.

  Huge, liquorous not-quite-wine. Almost port-like. It tastes good...but I don't really want to drink more than a sip of it. Hard to imagine much food that could pleasurably stand up to this. 16%, $23.
