My bottle is fat and flabby and starting to dis-integrate. Suffers greatly in comparison to the Bedrock Griffin's I had yesterday, which was half the cost and way more delicious. Maybe this should have been consumed much closer to bottling.

Been drinking Law since the first vintages and this was always my favorite of the lineup. 16.2% Alc, always made me nervous but when first tasted over 5 years ago this was the best of the bunch. It’s been stored in cellar since release.
Dark purple, huge oak presence, rich purple and dark fruit on the nose. Alcohol is there but not overwhelming. This is a wine with no apologies! Big, bold and straight forward high octane Syrah from Paso! I have been a critic of some of these wines but this is still as weird as it sounds somewhat elegant and true to the varietal.
It does not feel 9 years from vintage at all and would guess 3-4 years old. Would drink now as I worry this won’t improve but turn to a fruity/syrupy wine with more time and now is tasting excellent especially if you love big bold wines. Cheers!

Drinking nicely now. Full of fruit & paired well w/bone-in NY Strips. Impressive Syrah.
