  • Bottle in perfect condition.
    Transparent carmosine red.
Wonderful bouquet of red berries and spices. Seductive on the nose.
But there is a little bit "dusty" note on the nose.
At first the wine is shut down. Needs decanting for at least an hour and a half.
With a bit of air and time in the glass the typical vitamine note appears.
This is a very delicate and refined version of Richebourg. Very feminim, elegant and aristocratic.
Good grip in the beginning and in the end, lovely fresh acidity, soft but dusty tannins, firm mineral backbone, the vitamine note appears on the palate as well.
A slow starter and a bit weak in the middle ... but other than that it's a great bottle of wine.

A nice treat before Christmas :-)
