P&p. Aromatic, fresh, lively, and delicious, with juicy dark-red cherrylike fruit and typical mossy/black tea/leafy and earthy/stony character; plenty of Loire Cab Franc typicity. Good acidity. Grippy but smooth tannins. Holding up really well; nice to try a seven-year-old wine made without sulfur and have it show so well. Good stuff!
Day 2 (stored refrigerated in a half-bottle and brought back to temp): The fruit has picked up a slight raisin/port aspect; still yummy, with a lot going on, but was best on day 1.

Your typical Loire Cab Franc. Bright red fruit with a green pepper undertone and high acidity. This one has no sulfur added, still holding up quite well after 5 years. Still taste quite young with little sign of development.

Began as a pop & pour. Followed over two days. Opaque dark red in the core with a clear rim. The nose shows bright cherry aromatics with hints of earthy bell pepper. The palate is absolutely lovely here. Pure red fruit with exceptional freshness underpinned by some green pepper. Medium bodied, but showing excellent concentration. Acid is quite high & keeps this very bright & balanced. Silky tannins add a touch of class. Excellent on day 2 as well.

Needed no decanting, opened up nicely in a glass. Delightful Loire Cab Franc with no real signs of being past its peak.
