  • Drank 2 bottles with the wife and some friends. First bottle was ever so slightly oxidized but the second was fresh and clean. Medium to dark lemon yellow with visible texture. Nose has honeysuckle, cream, citrus, white peach and some light mineral undertones. Palate was somewhat dense and chewy with notes of orchard fruit, creamy but not quite buttery, lemon curd and some stony elements on the finish. My wife liked this more than I. Score reflects the second bottle. This has held up well in the cellar but probably was just pat peak, even the second bottle.

  • Decanted 2 hours before drinking. Rich medium lemon yellow color. Nose of honeysuckle and pear. Medium acidity. Palate is rich and textured. Pear, lemon and peach on the palate with just a hint of minerals. Moderately long unctuous finish. Very luxurious but still bright and refined. Went very well with pan seared red snapper and Beurre blanc.

  • pale yellow in color with a nose of white flowers, some citrus (lemon?), and just a hint of honeysuckle. the wine is medium bodied with a nice mouthfeel. I get lemon curd and pineapple, and maybe a tad too much oak (vanilla) on the palate. there's a slight buttery finish. the wine has a nice acidity but not sure that this needed the malo fermentation. I think it masks what appears to be a very interesting fruitiness. Overall, there is a nice balance to this wine but it fails to distinguish itself from the pack.
