  Selosse Rose (deg. 10/2015) ist einfach ein verrückter Rose. Schon allein die Farbe und die Nase haben aber auch gar nichts mit der üblichen Himbeer- und Erdbeermarmelade zu tun. Sie erinnert eher an Kupfer. Thymian, weisser Pfeffer, Zimtstern, abgeriebenene Orangenschale, die schon etwas an der Luft lag, Salzgebäck. Dazu Rauchnoten, eine geniale Säure und fertig ist ein super duper Essensbegleiter. Wie immer mit Luft und Zeit größer und stärker. 95+
  Clos des Goisses 1988 aus einer perfekten Flasche zu einem tollen Menü mit meinem Hasen genießen zu dürfen ist besonderes Vergnügen. Unglaubliche Perlage. Man könnte meinen, die feinen Bläschen wären gerade in der Coca-Cola-Fabrik frisch imprägniert worden. Das hätte ich so nicht erwartet. Geniale Balance zwischen typischen Champagnerreifenoten und Limette, wobei die Frische eindeutig noch im Vordergrund ist. Freue mich im Oktober auf die Magnum. 97
  Der Chambertin Clos de Beze 2000 von Drouhin-Laroze ist ein wenig enttäuschend. Minimale Frucht. Wirkt ausgezerrt als ob er über dem Höhepunkt wäre. Da können etwas Lakritz, Veilchen und Waldboden nicht hinwegtäuschen. Hätte mehr Säure, Konzentration und Fülle erwartet. 91-92. Hat jemand Erfahrung mit dem Wein?

  Did not decant given the age. Wine had extended about two thirds up the cork but the cork was still intact. Color is good with lighter ruby hues. Perhaps thinning at the edges. Cherry, savory and smokey aromas. Tannins have softened. Still some light acidity. Medium red fruit. Lingers on the palate for 15+ seconds. Overall still a very enjoyable wine.

  At Le Talbooth, Dedham, Essex. £113 off the list, with quail starter and whole roast partridge main course. Open, intense, dark cherry, plum, smoke and earth. Full bodied and quite powerful on the palate, deep smoky dark cherry fruit, fine almost integrated tannins, fresh acidity carrying a very good length, smooth, lingering slightly savoury finish. Good depth and balance, attractively flavoured if perhaps lacking a touch of complexity, at least at this stage. Now - at least 2020ish. (14% ABV)

  Decanted one hour.
  Deep red. somewhat spicy and mostly secondary nose that merges into intense, medium-full and rich flavors that is quite intense.A bigger wine than I thought it would be but very nice for all that.Great length too. Not a wimps wine at 14%abv but I am very pleased I picked a case of this up cheaply at Strakers. A burgundy with balls Excellent.
