  This is a special wine...but it needs to be open for at least an hour to gain its full potential. Wish I had known this before consuming most of the bottle. Classy chard nose, underlying subtle butterscotch, oak kissed, not the least bit heavy or flabby though. A beautiful medium gold in the glass, floral, a soapy tangerine nuance in a very good way, with a little lemon zest and flinty minerality. Creamy, full mouth feel, just the right kiss of oak with pleasant late arriving acidity and a finish that can cut through the best artisanal garlic used in a dinner chicken caesar salad. Underappreciated by myself in its youth but coming on strong with a little aging. Wish I had more.......IMO Parker was wrong to put a 2016 drink date on this beauty....and an 86 rating was wayyyy too low.

  Great balance of burgundy and Napa. Buttery but not over done. Very well balanced and still quite bright. Will cellar well for a white wine as the acid levels are clearly pronounced. Enjoyed with olive and pan fried Parmesan chicken.
