  Similar to last time, this wine was still quite good but it didn't have the aromatics of the previous bottle. Definite tropical fruits on the nose and palate with a decent amount of oak treatment but not overdone. Good acidity keeps everything in balance. Very well made chardonnay and paired great with lobsters and melted butter.

  Right out of the bottle, this wine was showing extremely well. Pale yellow color. Fantastic nose of tropical fruits, a bit of pineapple, toasted brioche, lemon custard, a hint of vanilla bean and buttered apple. Similar flavors on the palate with the citrus and tropical fruits met with a streak of minerality and acidity that balanced the wine out perfectly. Slightly creamy texture with a bit of the vanilla and oak coming through on the long finish. This is superb Cali chardonnay and was an amazing pairing with steamed king crab legs. Would definitely rebuy.
