The nose showed a forward and fresh bouquet with apricot, crushed stone, chalk, wool, spring florals, and a hint of lime zest. On the palate, it was energetic and refreshing with notes of green apple, lemon, minerals and a hint of savory herbs. Minerals coated the entire palate throughout the finish with lively acidity and tart citrus, which kept the mouth watering.

This pale yellow wine is substantially better than its regular (undesignated) Sancerre brethren. Lemon verbena, honeysuckle and notes of stone fruits on the nose are followed by a crisp, light-bodied palate with similar flavors. The alcohol (listed as 13%) is tightly integrated and the middle palate is solid. Medium-to-long at the back end, this wine carries its freshness all the way through the finish. In this particular case, the step up in price represents a step up in value. Drink now-2017.

Good for price point. Nice fruit, crisp but somewhat think and watery in my estimation.

Nice balance. Lemon and cream with light minerality. At Nougatine. NYC.

Creamy. Some nice tropical notes. Lychee and grapefruit. No grassiness.
