  Wine is still drinking very nice. Very much the same results as stated in my last comments. Cherry and spice with Forte to make it nice!! What I like is that the Forte is not dominant or overwhelming, but it supports the great taste!

  Consistent with my notes from last March. Nose is full of spice and earth. Well-structured.

  Translucent light red, like a pinot. Good nose of raspberry compote and spice. Light to medium bodied, bright cherries, black pepper, soft tannins, some heat, with some leather showing up in the back. Finally, a slightly sweet and tangy medium length finish. Much improved from prior year versions.

  Eleven months later, the port note is mostly gone, and the tannins are muscling up somewhat. Still very much a magnificent wine.
