Fantastic! When RdM is referred as the little brother of BdM, this wine is all about it, actually I would say is just a younger brother. Dried cherries along with dried Tuscan herbs, wrapped around beautiful earthiness, delightful tannins on a medium body.

There was a greenness about this, like the scent of geraniums or the greens of a tomato plant. There's still the tart cherry and red fruit you'd expect with the varietal but this might need a little more air than the the PnP.

Decent nose, but tart, even after 5 hrs. Not sure where it will go.

Best of three bottles. Better through the aerator, Simple dark red fruit.
