Drank this at The French Ladle yesterday with 2 close friends from the university days. Drank alongside the 2012 Famille Perrin / Perrin & Fils Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Sinards.
Dark purple in colour with serious undertones. Wild mushrooms, matured prunes, oak, dark chocolate and coffee.

Color: Transparent ruby. Nose: Rather subtle but enjoyable. Red berries. Mouth: Not that expressive. Lacks a bit tannins for a Bordeaux. It is a very pleasant wine though and it has some elegance. A hint of bitterness that I don't mind.

With notes of cherry, thyme and fresh mint on the nose, the wine is medium bodied, forward, fruity, and ready for its early drinking window to begin.

Earthy in character, the wine showcases black cherries, soft tannins and a supple finish filled with cocoa and plum. 88-90 Pts

2013 editon of En Primeur - Kelly and Kevin’s excellent adventure; 3/26/2014-4/1/2014 (Mostly in Bordeaux and a night in Paris): Ash, smoke, blackberries and earth. Medium concentration, soft and a slightly bitter finish.
