Again, slo-oxed for 15 minutes with red fruits and some earth on the nose. The medium bodied palate showed these red fruits and earth along with a dose of spice. The acidity continues to be juicy, and the tannins were resolved. A very satisfying bottle which should continue to hold for another couple of years but no reason to wait.

This wine continues to drink well after a 15 minute slo-ox. This bottle was as good as our previous bottle on 4/5/23. Lots of red fruit and earth notes on the nose and palate along with a heavy dose of spice, juicy acidity and resolved tannins. Should continue to hold but clearly in a good place now.

This is still drinking well. I love the mineral back bone to these Shale Terrace wines. It's a little hot, on night two that has seemed to mellow. I could drink these Scherrer zins every night!

Five months since our previous bottle of this enjoyable wine and this bottle was even more so. Slo-oxed for about 15 minutes which was enough to let the wine open. The nose was greeted with both bright red and dark red fruit notes, plus a touch of underlying earth. The medium bodied palate has a core of dark red fruit, some brighter red fruit, a good amount of spice, some earth, resolved tannins, and juicy acidity. Should continue to hold for some time.

Based on my previous TN (7/9/22) this bottle was decanted for 30 minutes and the results were virtually identical to that, with the addition of some darker red fruits on the nose and palate. Should hold for another couple of years.
