  • Holding the glass to a single bright light, shows generous Carmine red. Glass walls reveal silken legs with 14.9% ABV! This is a delightful product of the whole Peachy Canyon team, especially Doug Beckett, proprietor, and one Terry Culton, winemaker, whose alchemy is well acknowledged. Nose of new leather, crushed plums and blackberries, with the smoothest tannins of any Peachy Canyon effort I have tasted so far. Full, well balanced and refined zinfandel fruit flavors flood the senses and put this wine at the top of Paso Robles efforts. Well done, PC! The wine went down well with Haydn's Horn Concerto No. 2 in D Major, Hob. VIId:4: I. Allegro moderato.

  • Juicy dark fruit, a little spice, cocoa powder, espresso bean. Medium to full body. Smooth finish, moderate tannins, balanced acidity.
