Grenache by Chapoutier. Very nice grenat colour, sweet spices with cherries and raspberry. Nice and fruity on the palate. Good quality-price ratio. Liked it.

This is a wine that screams for decanting - the more vigorously the better. Not subtle, earthy, with the syrah dominating for a long time. Then the grenache comes through and the white pepper/mineral makes sense of the whole. Not great by any means but interesting and good value. As an earlier comment says. "correct"

Flavours really came through after an hour of decanting. Slight peppery notes on the finish

Venturi makes a wine that is tight, hard, and dumb into something very drinkable.
Classic example of the value of aeration
