Josh: Mike Januik, once the long-time winemaker at Chateau Ste. Michelle, has since 1999 been crafting small lots of beautifully expressive and intense wines made with fruit from "friends'" vineyards. Most of the fruit for this wine comes from the Ciel du Chevaland Champoux vineyards.

Pleasant, above average for WA cab at this price point. Easy to drink PnP but opens up with a little air. Consumed over two day with good results.

Really hasn't evolved much since my original note 5 years ago: "black fruit, granite, slight cocoa notes". Slight heat towards the finish. Good.

black fruit, granite, slight cocoa notes, fuller mouthfeel. Nice and drinkable now
