Decanted from a 375ml, removing some light sediment.
Tasted after a few minutes and there were moderate+ tannins, moderate+ acidity and not much fruit. I then poured it backwards and forwards between two glasses several times and left for another 30 minutes.
This caused the acidity to moderate a lot, the dark fruits emerged, and the moderate+ tannins remain. It is then a very drinkable wine for those that like dark tanniny claret. And the balance improved even more over the next hour.
But clearly it should get better with a few more years. If you must drink it now then give is a LOT of air.
It seems that this will be decent QPR at US$23/750ml if you can keep it for a few years.

Chocolate-covered raspberries, smoke, coffee and cherry are on display in this open, forward and round wine. This will drink well on release. From a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. 88-89 Pts

Pop and pour. Agree with MIKE410's description five years ago. This wine is now ready to drink.

Way too young to drink. Massive tannins. This should be a good wine in about 5 years. Good potential.
