  • Sboccatura: maggio 2023.

  • Disgorged Feb 21; pours a copper hue that is remiscent of a light rose more than a BdN; the nose shows peaches and strawberries, apple blossom and minerality; this is very fresh and bright with plenty of red fruit and soil tones; young and tight now I can see this being much better with 5-10 years in the cellar.

  • Vintage 18/17
    Degorged Feb 2021

Crazy acidic, this is my style of young champagne, not equally bold as their BdB and not that complex- yet! I think lots of more layers will appear after a couple of years in bottle. Clean and elegant. A bit unbalanced acidity right now, but I guess that it will be terrific with fatty food.

This is my favourite from Degorged feb 2021 out of 1er cru, BdB and this BdN.
BdB best now, BdN more powerful with brighter future.

  • Usually there is a back label with the base vintages and the disgorgement date, this bottle didn't have it. Lovely intensely rose gold colour.
Lots of berries from the start, blackberries, raspberries, cranberries, blackcurrants, lime cordial, some smoke and caramel, slightly oaky, balsamic, a hint of tarragon and basil.
Juicy but dense texture, high acidity, a little aggressive at the beginning but with some air decreased.

  • Still my preferred cuvee. Soft and elegant
