  Beautiful mature claret en magnum, this is better than a year ago. Medium bodied and very resolved on the tannin, the harmony here is consistent with a wine well beyond this price point, with lots of fruit coming through. If only I could find more....!

  Lovely, mature claret. Stays on the palate very well and doesn't show signs of old age. This is a happy wine, all its issues resolved and, I would wager, a few years of lively drinking still to go. Fine, gentle tannins on the finish. This was from magnum to accompany barbecued meats and it was ready to go after a brief decant.

  An outstanding wine whose aroma, for some reasons, gave me a feeling of longing for the past.
  There was something behind the nice earthy scents of mushroom and olives, just past the minty hint and the blackberry fragrance. I was almost there, but in the end it slipped away.
  The mouth too was really satisfying, complex in flavours, rounded by ageing, with full tannins and full body, but with still enough acidity left to let it rest a little bit more if you don't want to open the bottle now.
  
  My knowledge of Bordeaux is not very deep and I had never heard about this wine, but it was a very good surprise.
