  • I was almost afraid to drink this wine as I discovered it was past its drink by date. It still had nice aromas of pear, apples, honey. Same on palate. Medium bodied. Think some acidity has faded but still palatable. Similar to a chardonnay in some ways. Paired with a pork dish and went very nicely. Others in the group that don't necessarily like whites also thought this was 'nice'.

  • e tasting. The wine looks straw colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like apple and pear. It tastes like apple and pear. The body is light. The wine has bright texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
    It complemented the seafood etouffe.
We have had few pinot blanc but find the varietal very interesting and tasty. Certainly can be drunk by itself.
