  • Yellow color. Notes of pear, light butter & popcorn and a faint oak note in the background. Picked up a bit of a stone/mineral note as it warmed in the glass, really a nicely aromatic wine. Medium to full bodied, with rich fruit more on the tropical side...a coconut/banana cross, though Domino detected pineapple. A mineral tone comes through on the midpalate and remains through the finish. Great value too, as I was surprised to see I paid only $11 for this.

  • Very light yellow, with a tinge of green. For some reason I thought this wine was unoaked. So I was a little surprised to find a little wood and spice on the nose and finish of this wine. This wine was a little hefty around the edges, and not a whole lot to look at, either. But solid, and dependable. Course, that description wouldn't work in the personals, and it's not going to work with wine, either. Of course, it might help in both cases the ammendum, but cheap, is added. And the Argyle is all right at a tenner. It's not overoaked, there's some decent lime fruit in there with a medium bodied. She'll get the job done, and sometimes that's all you need.

  • Tangy wine with pear, apple and nectarine. Very refreshing and nice. Not overwhelming with oak and very lively.

  • pale yellow-too much char for our taste. Uninteresting at best.
