Wow, what a wonderful surprise. Didn’t expect much from this and didn’t plan to cellar it this long but it’s still going strong. Smells like Zin, berries and bramble. Plenty of fruit on the palate, raspberry and cranberry, with earthy notes and just a hint of tannin. Really delicious and even better than the last bottle we had 10 years ago.

We thought this was good, not great last night. Very pretty translucent reddish/pink color and a nose that resembles a light zinfandel. On the palate this was all savory strawberries, minerals, and iron, with a very dry, almost 'tart' finish, which neither my wife nor I loved. Fairly enjoyable but nothing I would look to backfill. Definutley drink now as I feel the fruit is already fading.

A chard/pinot sparkler this is not. It also doesn't taste like zin. Some red cherry/raspberry & yeast notes on the nose. The palate matches- tasty but not a ton of structure or complexity. Drink now-2018.

Surprisingly lively - 11+ years later. Good bubble action, pink-orange color, refreshing, no oxidization (as expected).
