  Had at a blind Zin tasting event. This one finished dead last. Did not posses the fruity, heart flavors of the other Zins tasted

  Rich aromas of blackberry-bramble and sweet vanilla. Sweet and fruity on impact, with dark cherries and reduced blueberries, but ending on a more shallow note. 87-89 points so far. More tomorrow.
  
  Day 2: you know, this is just flat out good. The finish now had some breadth and sweetness, the fruit is delicious, and there is some structure that suggests this might continue to improve. I have yet to have a Quivira Zin that wasn't at least pretty good and a solid value.
  
  Day 3: still going after a vacu-vin failure. I took back the 90 from yesterday, though, that was at its best, and now the finish is back to less than ideal and I've decided the sweetness has a caramelly nature that is very nice but kind of one-dimensional. 89-90 overall. Nice wine.
