This is a classic California Pinot Noir in my opinion. Nicely balanced and not too over the top even though it has 14.5% alcohol. Nice expression of the Pinot Noir fruit. Perhaps a bit more oak than I would like, however I say that about most California wines. Drink now or hold for a good five more years.

Did not have the richness I expect from an RRV pinot noir. Not much ripeness or depth of fruit, and the texture was rather lean - again unusual for an RRV. What was there was nice enough with typical cherry flavors complemented by earth and spice. 88-89

Really enjoyed this, good amount of oak and complexity. Big RRV Pinot that I think could be pretty versatile with food pairings. Nice nose, long finish, great mouth feel. Would buy again, great QPR in my opinion.

Double decanted for and hour, in a gentle fashion. Dried cranberry, medicine, white truffle, light oak and crème brûlée. The middle palate takes lead, then the finish reverberates for a fortnight. Red fruit, yet ideal concentration. A RRV beauty to beholden from one of the single vineyard, Russian River purveyors in the Sonoma Pinot world. Drink 2015 - 2022.
